Dear TechX Competition Families!

I would like to provide the following update!

TEAM SELECTION UPDATE
Coach Jared and I will announce teams this Friday, September 6! Your child will know their team that day!

EXTRA MONDAY PRACTICE!
We have enough students for Coach Jared to host practice this Monday, September 2nd during Labor Day from 9 AM – 3 PM! I have family obligations that day, so I’ll be unavailable.

CLARIFICATION ON 3-STUDENT LIMIT FOR EXTRA PRACTICES
To clarify our rule on the 3-Student Minimum Limit for Extra Practice Sessions, this means that we would like to have at least 3 team members present at any single time. However, we understand that a team member might have to cancel last minute. In that event, we will still host an Extra Practice Session as long as we have 2 team members. This does NOT apply to regular Monday and Friday practices.

DRINKS/FOOD FOR MONDAY
Due to the extra time for Monday’s Practice, please be sure that your child brings a drink and food for themselves! If your child stays for lunch, they can bring their own food, or families can pitch in $10-$15 for Coach Jared to order pizza! If you would like to pitch in, then please inform Coach Jared beforehand by emailing him at jared@techxrobotics.org

APPLICATION NOT REQUIRED THIS YEAR, BUT STILL HELPFUL FOR US
We have attached an APPLICATION on the Competition page of our website. While we have decided NOT to require the APPLICATION as a condition to join the TechX Robotics Competition Program this year, we still would like for each family to complete it as it would provide some helpful information for us to better understand and guide your child in our Competition Program.
